    New Forest National Park

    About

The New Forest National Park is a haven for outdoor exploration, a lot of which can be adapted for individual needs. You can also find a number accessible walks on the National Park Authority website. New Forest Access For All also has a wealth of information available, the tested accessible walks section will be invaluable if you are keen to get out and about in the New Forest and want to be sure of the terrain and facilities. Cyclexperience has a range of inclusive bikes available for hire suitable for a number of disabilities, as well as tandem and electric bikes within their main cycle hire fleet. This means that groups can enjoy cycling on over 100 miles of safe, off-road cycle routes in the New Forest whatever their ability. The Community Toilet Scheme makes it easier for many people to explore the New Forest without worrying about the availability of public toilets. Businesses who are a part of the scheme display a window sticker showing the toilet facilities they are able to offer to the public. There are a number of centres in the New Forest offering outdoor and indoor activities that have accessible features or can be adapted for individual needs. If you prefer time afloat, there are two Sailability centres, at Blashford Lakes and in Lymington, with facilities provided for a wide range of disabilities.
