    No disabled entrance

My friend and I were in the village of Lynhurst back in May it was a Saturday the main entrance into the pub and restaurant was through the main entrance door which is quite narrow and has a step I use an electric scooter and even if it could go up the step the entrance was very narrow. My friend went in to ask if they had disabled access into the premises to which she got the reply Yes they did but It wasn't being used as they had a restaurant table across it. So we couldn't enter. To be fair Lyndhurst itself has plenty of places to eat but most of them are not scooter or wheelchair friendly. We did eventually find somewhere we could eat and they were so helpful in making sure I had everything I needed. But the biggest pub in Lyndhurst made no attempt to accommodate us

The best Fish n Chips in a pub ever - next to a roaring open fire!

We were freezing and wandering around Lyndhurst looking for a late lunch. We remembered visiting the Fox & Hounds years ago and it being ideal with good wheelchair access... We struggled up the step, over a threshold, through a narrow door, up a step to the bar to be told there is a level access to the left with a much wider door. They need a sign! We had a fantastic meal sat looking at the roaring fire basket in the centre of the pub. It really was one the best pub meals I have ever had and the staff were very helpful.
