Overview

This hotel, in the heart of the city has excellent wheelchair access to all public areas. The rooms are a reasonable size with enough room to get a powered chair round but not much more. The ensuite bathrooms are a good size with level shower cubicle. Some rooms have a bath. The bar/lounge area is up a few steps but there is a ramp adjacent to them that gives you access to all the bar area. The restaurant if fully accessible. There is a lift that takes you to down to the swimming pool area that has an accessible changing area.

Transport & Parking

The hotel has a carpark and 1 accessible Parking space which can be booked if the hotel is given prior notice. If this space is taken, there is also space in the courtyard behind the hotel that can be used.

I was not in any of the accessible toilets but going by the ones in the rooms they should be fine.

Staff

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly considering I just came in off the street and asked if I could see the accessible room and it was no problem. The lady also took me round all the public areas to make sure it would be ok for my needs.
