Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre

Ocean Terminal has been undergoing some transformations and part of this is a massive upgrade to their toilets. The brand new accessible toilets are on the first floor next to the main entrance. There are two decent sized wheelchair accessible toilets, one for left hand side transfers and one for right. I could easily do 3 doughnuts. A wonderful new addition to is a Changing Places toilet.

Really liked the boats inside, and good lifts, plus people in wheelchairs can visit a variety of shops and the cinema. It’s quite a loud place so not great for people who are sensitive to noise and crowds.

Unfortunately, what was an excellent destination for wheelchair users has been spoilt by the profusion of bins in the accessible toilets.
