I am a disabled person and a carer or friend of a disabled person and a general supporter of disabled access. I have experience of challenges around: a hidden impairment, accessing toilets, dexterity or coordination and moving around.
Overall Rating
Good
A fairly easily accessible store with lots of space for people with disabilities. The entrance has shutters rather than doors, so the access to the store is very simple, however at the front of the store there is an incline that self-propelled wheelchair users may struggle to navigate without assistance.

The biggest issue I faced was trying to self-propell my wheelchair up the initial incline at the front of the store, however the rest of the visit went smoothly. There is plenty of space in all aisles and most of the tills to navigate any wheelchair/powerchair and other walking aids.

Although there isn't any dedicated parking, drop off or pick up points for the store, it is centrally located in the town centre with links to multi-story carparks, bus stops and the train station. There are on-street parking spots dotted around the city centre, but these are usually occupied and carparks often have more availability.

Staff
Poor
The staff are fairly curt, they will push infront of you to stock shelves or to get past you without any manners. I have visited the store in the past and received the same treatment each time; they are not friendly nor helpful with any queries. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome on my shopping trips and on the most recent one I was made to feel like a hindrance as my wheelchair was 'in the way' of other customers accessing the till areas. I was waiting to be served myself and not in the way, I was actually stuck in place, unable to move until a customer decided to move for me to leave the store after a minimum of 5 minutes waiting.
