Disabled Access at Phoenix Holiday Retreat

Suitable for guests with a wide range of disabilities including mobility, hearing and visual impairments, and the elderly. The overhead hoist will enable holiday makers to be hoisted from wheel chair to bed (maximum weight 130 Kg/20 stone). Children welcome, pets welcome by arrangement.

Toilets features at Phoenix Holiday Retreat

Wet room comprises of: A level entry shower with attached shower head and lower detachable shower head. The temperature of shower and sink is thermostatically controlled and can only reach a maximum of 41c, a fixed shower chair and a commode shower chair with wheels, hand rail next to shower, the wet room has 1200mm unobstructed turning space. The taps are lever and there is clear under space for a wheelchair under the sink, with all pipe work insulated. The flooring is non slip and there is under floor heating to aid quick drying of the floor and gives warmth to the wet room.

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
