A small party of three, with myself in a wheelchair, had planned to make day of shopping, lunch out and then to the pictures, because it was my daughters birthday, we knew the cinema was going to be fine as we had visited there many times before. and even though West Quay, Southampton doesn't have an adequate shop-mobility team anymore all the shops are wheelchair friendly, so after returning all of our shopping to the car for self keeping we queued to be seated at the Pizza Hut restaurant. even though we could plainly see approximately forty empty chairs the server said "sorry we cannot accommodate your wheelchair" asking why? we could if I moved a chair sit near the door? his reply was "sorry we cannot move furniture", so not to cause a scene we left, I contacted the head office and after a couple of fruitless emails decided to post my experience to my family and friends.
I cannot give this establishment any ratings because it is one unit within West Quay Southampton and overall other stores in West Quay are wheelchair friendly.
