Spacious bays with different charging options

Within this large Tesco Extra’s car park there was a bank of electric vehicle charging bays. The main machines seemed to be operated by PodPoint. There were a combination of Type 2, CHAdeMO and CCS plug types. The spaces were close to the shop’s main entrance and had hatch markings on either side of each charging bay. This meant that there was a really good amount of space on either side of the bay for those who need the additional space. The machines had their own cables and these seemed to be quite heavy as they provided quite a fast charge. According to ZapMap, there were a combination of types of charge, some 7kW, some 22kW, some 50kW and some 77kW. These different types of chargers were operated by different types of machines. I saw three different styles of machines within this bank of EV bays. One machine had its own cables attached to it, the others required you to have your own cable to attach, The spaces seemed well laid out with a lot of space on either side of every bay. The machines themselves seemed to provide pretty good access to all the connection points or interaction points.
