Overview

Update from 2021 review to 2025 there are issues with the lift especially for powerchair users, will update further after it is resolved by venue. Until a resolution is found, use with care. sep 2021: Went to some album release concerts run by Banquet Records at Pryzm. I was impressed with how well they managed accessibility and I would definitely recommend.

Transport & Parking

4.5

There were some blue badge parking spaces a walk from the venue that are free. No parking really close though. There is a station and buses nearby.

Update 2025: issues with lift not yet resolved. Where they seat wheelchair users, if you don’t have a riser there is a bar at eye level for some wheelchair and powerchair users. It’s an old building so some issues but generally really good. Toilet on ground floor. Seating on a different floor. There is a lift that is operated by staff. Now I’m a powerchair user I need to operate this independently, due to the weight limits of the lift. Staff are accepting of this. They have a viewing area with bar stools. I could see over the bar at the edge of the platform but a much shorter person might struggle.

Toilets

Update 2025: the radar lock has been broken for four years now and not mended. The loo is basic, but often parts not in working order like soap dispenser. You cannot lock the door from the inside at all. It was generally clean enough with everything in. Flush slightly difficult and water had a tendency to come out strong and fast from the tap! Near in mind the accessible loo is near the entry and there isn’t one near the viewing area. You may need to plan around this.

Staff

Update 2025: Banquet record staff all amazing, Pryzm staff weren’t. All amazing (I only saw Banquet Records staff). They organise early entry so you can get in and into a space before everyone else. They are always really helpful before, during and after the show.

Photos

View from the viewing area direct to the stage. A sign saying ‘Franquet Records’ instead of Banquet Records View of artist (Frank Turner) on stage. His name is lit up above him and the crowd standing can be seen.
