    Every year the Royal Welsh Show attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to the heart of Mid-Wales to come together and celebrate the very best of Welsh and British agriculture. The Show is an action-packed four-day event of exciting competitions, livestock, forestry, horticulture, crafts, countryside sports, shopping, food and drink, a 12-hour programme of non-stop entertainment, attractions, displays and much more. The Royal Welsh Show takes place in July every year.

    Spring Agricultural show

    Agricultural show on relatively accessible site. Would need assistance with manual chair. Less busy than Summer show but still lots to see.

    Disabled Access Information Provided by Royal Welsh Show

    Disabled Access at Royal Welsh Show

    The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society is committed to improving accessibility to the facilities and aim to make trips more comfortable and enjoyable for visitors with disabilities. If a visitor has a full-time registered carer or attendant, that carer can have access to the event free of charge by applying in advance with supporting documentation. Please note that advance tickets will only be provided upon satisfactory proof that the attendant is a registered carer. No such arrangements will be available on the gate. For more information or to book please call 01982 553683 or email requests@rwas.co.uk. Event Mobility will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for the use of disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the Royal Welsh Show To reserve an mobility scooter or manual wheelchair you can book on line at www.eventmobility.org.uk. We also have Mobiloos available at the Royal Welsh Show with a mobile accessible toilet and changing place for those requiring use of a hoist and/or changing bed when using the bathroom.

    Accessible parking at Royal Welsh Show

    A forward parking area is available in all our park & ride carparks for visitors displaying a Blue Badge. FREE low access park & ride shuttle buses will take visitors to and from the showground between 7.30am and 9.30pm. We also have a limited number of ‘paid for’ (£5/day) spaces for disabled visitors in a carpark adjacent to the showground. Access to this carpark will only be possible by displaying the correct parking passes, which must be purchased in advance by calling 01982 553683.

    We have Mobiloos available at the Royal Welsh Show with a mobile accessible toilet and changing place for those requiring use of a hoist and/or changing bed when using the bathroom. There are also multiple permanent toilet blocks with disabled and baby changing facilities located across the Showground.

    There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.

    A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
