Salford CVS is the city-wide infrastructure organisation for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector; providing specialist information, advice, development support and opportunities for influence and collaboration. Our work includes providing support for VCSE organisations to establish and develop, including delivering training for their staff, volunteers and trustees. In addition to this Volunteer Centre Salford provides support for individuals who want to volunteer and assistance for organisations developing volunteer programmes, including good practice support.

Disabled Access at Salford Community Voluntary Services

There is ramped access to the building, the ramp is not steep. The ramped entrance to our building has automatic double doors. We have a standard lift which takes you to the first floor of the building where our office is located. There is a buzzer for access to our office, the main office door isn't automated but staff can greet you at the door.

Accessible parking at Salford Community Voluntary Services

Our office does not have a car park (there is a permit holders car park owned by Salford City Council outside our office). There is street parking for those with a Blue Badge next to our office. The parking is located on King Street, Eccles (located off Church Street, turn right just after the Duke of York pub next to Cash Recycle). Our office entrance is approximately 30 meters from these parking bays.

Toilets features at Salford Community Voluntary Services

Our office has one accessible toilet, the toilet is located in our office on the first floor (accessible by standard lift). There are no additional steps / stairs in our office. The door is wide enough for a power wheelchair. The door lock and sink tap are easy turn. There are grab rails.
