Venue Description

Sara's Cottage is a multi award winning self catering holiday cottage based in the heart of Cornwall. The cottage sleeps 6 is Visit England 5 Star Gold rated and has National Accessible Scheme gradings of M1 and M2. Level access throughout, parking directly outside, a fully accessible wet-room with level entry shower, grab rails and a drop down bar next to the toilet makes this an ideal property for a wheelchair user or someone with limited mobility.

Accessibility

Sara's Cottage has level access throughout and a slight concrete ramp from the parking area outside. The main entrance is 800mm wide. All internal doors except one are 800mm wide. The wheelchair accessible bedroom has a turning circle of 1250mm and all three doors in this room are a minimum of 800mm wide. This bedroom has a fully accessible wet-room with level entry shower and a drop down bar by the toilet. We have available (free of charge) a variety of accessible equipment for guests to use and two different wheeled shower chairs. Please see our Access Guide for the list of equipment.

There is a full accessible wet-room with a toilet with one static wall bar and a drop down bar. It is necessary for a guest to be able to transfer themselves to the toilet from the right.
