Spend a day enjoying Scotland’s record breaking football heritage in the amazing setting of Hampden park, pay tribute to the legends who inspire the champions of today on a journey from past to present. On show are collections which display and preserve the history of the game in its widest form. You can also relax in the café and browse for gifts in the shop. On the stadium tour you will experience the stadium as the players do on matchday – visit the underground roadway, team changing rooms and have the speed of your shot electronically measured in the players’ warm up area. Enter the stadium bowl via the player's tunnel and hear the famous Hampden roar.

    National Football Museum

    The access to Hampden Park is fully accessible, being a large stadia there is ample parking that is disabled designated and welcomes blue badge holders too. If you are taking the train or bus it’s a lengthy trek. The venue is 2.5 miles from Glasgow City Centre. Being a sporting museum it appeals to those who like the history of Scottish Club and National Football, it’s a well laid out journey on a timeline basis through origins, history, development of the game from 1869 to the current day. The Stadium tour is not fully wheelchair or walking aid friendly so there are areas you miss out on. It can appeal to all ages and it’s an experience if you are interested in football.
