We prebooked a Beach Wheelchair, from the cabin on the West Shore next to The Dooks Cafe on the West Shore. Because of my level of disability I was glad there were strong relations to get me on the seat. I was strapped in and pushed onto the beach, it even coped with the soft sand of the access paths..A great experience.

Parking & Transport

There are limited parking spaces where the wheelchairs are hired. Free of charge. But there a very large carpark nearby.

Staff

The Beach Wheelchairs are mainly operated by volunteers. The paid member of staff was on duty when we visited.She was friendly and helpful

Additional Information

The conditions were unseasonably bleak when we were there , but I believe users can go right into the shallows
