Excellent for a long coffee or brunch or lunch

Good

Met a former colleague for mid-morning coffee with breakfast toast. The clubhouse is open from 7am for golfers, but by 10am most of the golfers are on one of the courses. They only open half of the restaurant in the morning, but excellent views of the Old Course and the Himalayas.

Book restaurant in advance? I hadn't and in September less busy, so not necessary. Be prepared for car park to be fairly full. Be prepared for some golfers not to recognise your accessibility needs.

I travelled to this place by walk or wheel

I was able to get one of the three (?) blue badge spaces near the entrance. Still quite a walk (the restaurant is at the back of the clubhouse) and not helped by minivans offloading golfers without realising they were forcing me to walk further to get around them, and door planters (moved later in the morning) still to be moved.

Given a choice of window tables; prompt service but not too intrusive and left for as long as we needed to chat.
