Love this Starbucks, very good for allergies

Good
We were easily able to get parked in one of the two disabled parking bays. The door to get inside is electric. The threshold of the doors has a very small bump; it’s not completely flat. The café was quite busy inside so we struggled to find seating my wheelchair could snugly find under. We did find some seating that was okay. There is a wide variety of seating options in the café to suit different people. I found that there was a nice selection of different drinks I could have with my allergies (coeliac and dairy free). There is also a selection of different milks if you don’t drink cows milk. Unfortunately you do have to pay for the milk alternatives apart from soya milk; I drink oat milk. The counter was a little difficult to use as a wheelchair user and my PA did have to help me out. The disabled toilet facility was good with the red cord hanging freely. I’ve also used the Drive Thru before and again they’ve been good with allergies and serving drinks.

The whole of this Starbucks café is step-free apart from a slight bump to get over the threshold of the door.

I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
Two disabled parking bays. Easy to navigate from the parking space to the path. Unfortunately getting into the café was difficult as there was a giant bin in the path from the disabled parking bays to the café entrance and and I to go onto the parking bays to get around it but a parked car meant that I struggled to manoeuvre back onto the path so my PA had to help my with my wheelchair and usually I’m very independent in my wheelchair.

Clean and tidy. Plenty of grab rails. Mirror at and accessible hight. Red cord hanging freely. Only thing I would like to see added is a surface that can be cleaned by those with catheters and stomas etc so we have a clean surface to put our supplies when using the bathroom.

Good
Staff were pleasant enough. They listened to me when I raised the issue regarding the access on the path outside. The barista was also really helpful in checking that my drink was suitable for my allergies and the ensured the area and equipment were cleaned before making my drink.
