Exceptional accessible accommodation
We stayed at Sunny Bank whilst waiting to complete on a house purchase and I can't recommend it highly enough. The property is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and probably the best equipped accommodation we've ever stayed in. Every room has little extras that make staying away from home so much easier and more comfortable.
I'm always anxious that no matter how much I might enquire and check in advance about wheelchair accessibility we might still end up arriving somewhere only to find out that its not quite as claimed. Sunny Bank does exactly what it promises on the accessibility front though. Great access outside and throughout the property with the bathroom being a highlight with its roll in shower.
The location is stunning. Could stare at the views for hours. Feels remote enough to properly get away from it all and switch off but the town and all its amenities are a within a 5 minute drive. Multiple places to visit also locally with lots of helpful notes and advice in the property.
What sets Sunny Bank even further apart as accessible holiday accommodation is the outstanding hospitality of the owners and their extended family. Warm, friendly, exceptionally kind, and striking the perfect balance between being accessible at all times without ever being obtrusive.
The property is stunning and when combined with the quality of the hospitality Sunny Bank is a very special place. Couldn't recommend highly enough!
