Good access and good food
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair, Powerchair
Overview
We've eaten here several times now without any problems. The entrance is flat and although the doors can be awkward a member of staff is usually ready to help.
Transport & Parking
Being in the the centre of the city with pedestrian streets around it on street parking can be found in Reform Street which is 2 minute wheel away. There is also a large car park in the Overgate Shopping Centre which is about 5 minutes manual push away. The main hub for the city buses is just outside the Overgate Centre and for out of town buses the Seagate Bus Station is 5 minutes away.
Access
There is level access for wheelchair users within the pub/ restaurant and the streets roundabout are easy to negotiate.
Toilets
A spacious toilet makes a visit to the loo easy. All the neccesary grab rails are provided. There isn't a Changing Places toilet but there is plenty room for a carer in the normal loo.
Staff
The staff are all very friendly and efficient. If you need help you only have to ask.
