The Carding Shed

I messaged ahead and they said it was wheelchair accessible. The parking isn't great. I know it is Holmfirth and lots of hills! There is a small car park just up the hill but I wouldn't be able to push the wheelchair back up there. I parked outside the building, not obstructive and easier to access the building (there were no spaces in the car park as it was very busy otherwise I would have moved my car once got him out) the cafe is very spacious, great for chair to be pushed straight to table. It looks like it's best to book ahead as it can be busy and we had a long wait, first to order and then for the food to arrive. The car museum was abit of a let down, not much to see, alot of items in cases were downstairs near the toilets but this isn't wheelchair accessible. Standard toilets are great, one of the cleanest I've seen, the disabled toilets were OK, alot of water on the floor and I'm glad I didn't need to get him out of the chair today, plenty of space though.
