A view of the Cenotaph from one side of the road. It is a tall monument made from light coloured stone. Three of the six flags can be seen from this side, there is no wind so they can't be seen in full. There is a Union Jack in the centre. On the left is the RAF Ensign and on the right is the Red Ensign

War memorial on Whitehall

This war memorial can be found on Whitehall which has Parliament Square at one end of it and Trafalgar Square at the other end of it. You can get a good view of the memorial from either side of the road as the pavements are wide and there is little to obstruct the view. The pavements on either side are also very well paved.

A National Memorial

The Cenotaph sits in the middle of the main road at Whitehall. It's easily approached from either side of the road where there are wide level pavements.
