Date of visit: August 2026
I have experience of challenges around: moving around
I use or have experience of: mobility scooter, wheelchair
Overall Rating
Poor
Poor from start to finish when it comes to disabled visitors. Sadly more interested in getting as many people through the doors as possible rather than providing a quality service.
Disabled Access In and Around
Poor
There is a ramp into The Grand Tour tent where the butchers, seating and shop are, however it is incredibly steep and my powerchair couldn’t manage the incline! My husband had to assist by pushing it up at the same time as I was driving it. Inside the shop area, it was too tight to turn around, the items for sale were all on high shelves, the hanging rails where they had t-shirts etc for sale were very tall and way beyond reach. Not to mention that I was buried amongst them whilst trying to manoeuvre around.
Accessible facilities: Step-free entrance
Parking & Transport
Bad
I travelled to this place by personal vehicle
Parking for blue badge holders only was closest to the pub. However, we were told to park as close as possible to the car next to us. When I questioned this and said that I need the space to get my wheelchair out and get in it, I was told to do that THEN park the car as close as possible so they could fit as many cars as they could on the row!
Accessible facilities: Dedicated on-site parking
Staff
Average
Didn’t speak to any staff apart from the car park attendant and she was quite rude!
Additional Information
Almost seemed like disabled customers were an inconvenience and as little as possible had been done to make sure they had an enjoyable visit. Able bodied customers were definitely their preferred clientele!
