The Fisherman's Retreat is a restaurant in Ramsbottom, Bury. We were looking at to hold our wedding there. A beautiful place in a stunning location but it is very hilly and difficult to navigate. The main entrance has two good double doors to get into but unfortunately we did have to ask for the other one to be opened. There are steps to each dinning room in which they do have a metal removable ramp for, really not ideal. There are good disabled toilets with grab rails. Overall it’s not great for accessibility.

The venue has a few disabled spaces but the road to the Fisherman’s Retreat is very hilly with pot holes in the road and the car park, entrance and surrounding area is really hard to get round in a chair because of uneven paths and hills.
Excellent
There are good-sized accessible toilets with grab rails in both the restaurant and function room.
