About

The Met is a stunning, award winning live music venue noted nationally for its specialist folk music programme. Having recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, it incorporates two modernised performance spaces, popular dining restaurant Automatic, and Edwin Street Creative Hub which includes a Recording Studio. The Met is also the proud organiser and promoter of Head for the Hills festival welcoming around 12,000 music lovers to Ramsbottom every year.

Disabled Access at The Met

There is step-free access to the main entrance and ticket office which involves a slight incline.The Derby Hall is located on the first floor it can be accessed via the lift or 31 stairs with handrails.

Toilets features at The Met

We have a large Changing Places toilet on the first floor equipped with a hoist and height adjustable changing table. The first floor is accessible by lift.

Changing Places toilet

There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
