Part of New Dawn Pubs, an independent pub company, The Gomshall Mill is a beautifully refurbished 11th Century Mill, turned pub, near Guildford. Located in the beautiful, and historical rural village of Gomshall, near Guildford, on the A25, this pub serves exceptional food, drink, and hospitality. The building itself forms a huge part of Gomshall's history and has existed since the 11th century, as seen in the Domesday Book. The Mill formed an integral part of the local industry, powered by the River Tillingbourne, and was still grinding flour as a working corn mill until 1952. Thereafter it became the village's post office, before being transformed into a beautiful, award-winning riverside pub in 2010. However, the Grade II listed site was fast falling into disrepair and was subsequently closed in 2021. The derelict pub was purchased by New Dawn Pubs and, following a full refurbishment, re-opened its doors in December 2022 thus ensuring a secure future for its local community, and as a destination pub for walkers and explorers alike.
