The Hyning Estate provides luxurious, high quality, 'Green', self catering accommodation on the edge of The Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks minutes from the M6 and National Rail. Stunningly beautiful and renovated to the highest standards, The Hyning Estate offers seven self catering cottages. All are beautifully appointed and sympathetic to their 17th century origins. Retained beams, sandstone quoins, limestone floors, roof top patios, Juliette balconies and ironwork are skilfully combined with modern bathrooms, oak and granite kitchens, woodburning stoves and the latest high-tech appliances. Inspired design, the best local materials, reuse and sustainability all coalesce to create a truly outstanding holiday experience. The Carriage House is ideal for those caring for someone with low mobility and The Old Forge is also at ground level.

Level paved access to The Carriage House with all accommodation at ground level. Accessible wheel-in shower. Slight incline from Blue Badge Parking. Width 85cm. Door frame 3cm easy with wheelchair. Outdoor lights. Ceiling Spotlight. Polished Limestone Floor. Suitable for disabled visitors travelling with a Carer or Family Member (Kitchen not suitable for wheelchair users). For low mobility guests without wheelchairs then The Old Forge may also be suitable & has two bedrooms - please check details in our Access Statement.
