Overview

The building was accessible, with friendly staff help holding the doors open. They offer a low priced afternoon tea that is just tea and scones - as cheap as you would pay anywhere for tea & cake (the full sandwich option is more expensive). But wow it is a nice place and the service amazing. The lovely decorated disabled bathroom was reached via the equally attractive lift. See photo. It was fine for me and my scooter but if you have a particularly large or hard to manoeuvre chair then of course its probably best to check it yourself before diving into the huge pots of tea! It was such an affordable, lovely way to treat friends to a special afternoon that I really wanted to share the find with others! We each had a silver platter with 3 mini scones, cream & jam. I look forward to going back and trying the roof garden next time, which I believe is also wheelchair accessible but did not go myself so again I would suggest double checking.

How nice to have a disabled loo that is not just white and ugly!
