About

Albert Hall is a Grade II listed building which is adapted to accessibility requirements with accessible toilet facilities, a viewing platform and a recently installed passenger lift for accessibility requirements.

The lift capacity is 630kg and has internal dimensions of 1110mm x 1310mm and a door opening width of 810mm. Wheelchair access tickets and any accessibility requirements must be booked in advance.

A very special event

Nothing was too much trouble - I was able to listen to one of my favourite artists with easy access in my wheelchair and was treated like a VIP as others have said. Easy access, a great view, a runner for drinks. Thank you so. much. This is how things should always be.

Treated like vip

Stair climber at the Albert hall in Manchester for the Lloyd Cole concert. Been treated like VIP highly recommended going to the Albert hall. They made a real effort with accessibility for an old inaccessible building. The staff are lovely and they got a waitress to come up to get us drinks for me. I found the stair climber fun and felt safe but I understand that some people may find it scary.

Fantastic accessibility in a listed building. Beautiful venue!

Albert Hall Manchester is a fantastic venue which used to be a church. It still has its beautiful features - stain glass windows, pillars and high moulded ceilings. Great wheelchair accessible music venue.
