Disabled Access Information for The Macallan Distillery

Disabled Access at The Macallan Distillery

Our team are available to support at every stage of the visit, including by taking guests from the car park in the electric buggy, to providing appropriate ongoing assistance. Wheelchairs are available for guests who require assistance. The Macallan Distillery is over two floors and we have a lift that allows enough space for a wheelchair user and one other to enter and exit. There are accessible toilets on both levels.

Accessible parking at The Macallan Distillery

Three dedicated disabled parking bays are available in our car park. These are clearly marked and provide space on both sides and rear, allowing disabled drivers, disabled passengers, rear entry lift or ramp users space to enter and exit the vehicle.

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.

Toilets features at The Macallan Distillery

We have accessible toilets on both levels of the distillery. Each is spacious, has grab rails, a drop-down rail and ample transfer space. The transfer space in the accessible toilet may be either left or right, giving visitors a suitable option to meet their individual preferences. Access to the ground floor toilets are pull door, and staff will assist when requested. All our accessible toilets are equipped with an emergency alarm and a red alarm cord.
