Overview
If you are looking for an alternative access point to the canal in Linlithgow ( canal basin parking in the town can be very busy ) try the leisure centre car park. At the south end there is a zig zag ramp up to the canal tow path. Turn left to head towards the town and canal basin or turn right to head towards the aquaduct.
Transport & Parking
Leisure centre car park has plenty spaces , head for the south end and you will see the zig zag ramp up to the canal.
Access
Tarmac path leads to ramp then usual towpath surface which is generally in good condition.
Toilets
Toilet is located within the leisure centre , there are no facilities along the towpath.

We like to take a picnic for the outings but you can get tea / coffee / light lunches at the leisure centre café.
