Ting Thai Lothian Road

Quick. You can’t book. We had no wait at all (a table was free). But apparently very quick if not. Tasty - delicious food Cheap - £31 for lunch for 2. 1 starter, 2 main courses, 1 salad, 2 drinks. Informal - some dishes served in a cardboard box

I first visited Ting Thai Caravan two summers ago and absolutely loved it! It was truly an eye-opening experience for my tastebuds, and since then, it’s become a real favourite. I order the same dish and drink every time because they’re just that good. There’s almost always a wait, but it’s never too long, and it always feels worth it. The atmosphere, food, and experience are consistently excellent. The one in Teviot Place is very loud which is why Lothian Road is my go-to for Ting Thai.
