We popped in as we were visiting the nearby alpine coaster and fancied a bite to eat. It turned out to be a lovely café, with some local artisan pieces for sale. Access is okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

There’s a slight ramp at the entrance, followed by two manual double doors. I needed a hand to get these open. I could get around the venue in my chair, but on a busier day it could definitely be more of a struggle.

There are two disabled bays, one of which borders a standard space. The markings are pretty worn and could do with being refreshed.

Accessible Toilets
Poor
The accessible toilet was clean enough, but there’s a large unit with drawers sitting right in the transfer space, which makes it impossible to use. There was also a toddler stool shoved under the sink, so getting close enough was a bit of a faff, and the tap handle was surprisingly tough to push. The signage for the toilet wasn’t great either. It was hidden behind a pop-up banner, so it was pretty easy to miss.

Staff were nice enough, brought food to our table but weren't especially chatty.
