Exceptional staff and very accessible - Thank you

This is a review specifically for the Chanel exhibition only, which is on until 25 February 2024. The exhibition is in the Sainsbury Gallery. The exhibition is very accessible and staff were amazingly helpful.

Bit of a maze but a good day out

Wet winter afternoon, perfect for another London museum! Went round what I think was most of it, even following the map I got easilly lost but that's just through lack of concentration! Staff all very helpful.

Disabled Access Information Provided by V&A South Kensington

Disabled Access at V&A South Kensington

Both the Cromwell Road and Exhibition Road entrances are accessible with both ramps and stairs. The tunnel entrance is not fully accessible and has stairs with no lift access. The doors at the Cromwell Road entrance are automatic and can be activated by a push plate button. The Exhibition Road and the Tunnel entrance doors are push-pull glass doors. The museum has 18 split levels some of which are ramped with 100% wheelchair access throughout the museum. The museum has lifts which provide access to all levels throughout the building. In Gallery 40 and the Jewellery Gallery platform lifts provide access to upper levels.

Toilets features at V&A South Kensington

There are four accessible toilets on the premise with step free access and doors wide enough for manual and power wheelchair. All accessible toilets are fitted with grab rails including easy turn locks and taps.

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
