This Is a unique building. Afternoon tea is served in the historical, renovated part of the hotel. Look up, and it’s a stunning roof. 1 of party was gluten free. They were able to cater. We had the usual sandwiches and cakes, plus a glass of veuve cliquot champagne. Teas were from Pekoe Tea. Afternoon tea is served 12-4 weekends only

This hotel has 11 accessible rooms that you can book online Amazing location-stretches from top of Victoria street (India Buildings) to the Cowgate. Mostly behind, not facing onto street. Easy walking distance to castle, holyrood, Grassmarket etc Blend of old buildings and new buildings But beware, weekends people complain of huge noise (Cowgate nightclubs bang music out until 3am). I went on a Monday night and completely silent. I think midweek experience is much better than weekend Don’t be fooled by irreverent style and decor. It is super high end
