The Vicarage Road Stadium is the home of Watford Football Club, who currently play in the EFL Championship. With additional wheelchair spaces, ambulant/easy access spaces and our state of the art Sensory Room, we’re pleased to welcome disabled supporters who may not have been to a game for while, or even attended before. We also provide Soccer Sight headsets for supporters with visual impairments, a seat side food and drink ordering service, storage for wheelchairs and walking frames, escorts to your seats and much more. Attended Elton John’s gig

Elton John gig held at Vicarage Rd. Stewards were fantastic helping me get to my seat, directing me to accessible toilets and entrances. A really positive experience .

Best experience at a football match I've ever had...!

I'm a football fan but am always uneasy when going to away games - so much so, in fact that the majority of the time I don't bother. It's too hard to book tickets and, whilst you're on the touch line, the view you get is so often sub-par. My mentality has always been, stick to Charlton's The Valley: the stadium I know best. Why did nobody tell me about Watford before? I can't fault Vicarage Road. They have the best sensory room I've seen and are putting in a Changing Places toilets (but I'm sure if you asked for a hoist they'd have one). Staff are so friendly and all they want to do is improve! There's plenty of wheelchair spaces and more are being added. Up The Hornets. Let's follow their example!

Disabled Access at Watford FC, Vicarage Road Stadium

Accessible viewing areas are available in the Rookery, Lower Graham Taylor, Upper Graham Taylor and Sir Elton John Stands. Visiting supporter facilities are available in the Vicarage Road Stand. Each viewing area is served by a dedicated accessible entrance, with lifts to provide step and ramp free acccess where required. There is personal assistant space available in all areas. Full details of the entrance to each area is fully described in our Access Statement, which can be downloaded from this listing.

Accessible parking at Watford FC, Vicarage Road Stadium

We provide 25 wheelchair parking bays, which are located in Stadium Way and Occupation Road. Both are accessed via Cardiff Road. There is step free access to the Rookery, Lower Graham Taylor and Sir Elton John stands. All traffic will be held back for a short while after the match to ensure clear access for pedestrians. We also provide parking spaces for ambulant disabled supporters in the nearby Lower Hospital Car Park, which can be accessed via Thomas Sawyer Way. We provide a buggy service to bring supporters to the accessible entrance of their choice and supporters can also make the return journey to the car park by buggy. To book a space, please call our ticket office hotline on 01923 223023 or email your request to disabled.supporters@watfordfc.com. Spaces are provided for both home and away supporters and are subject to availability. Maps showing access routes for each car park can be provided on request. A drop off point is also available at the junction of Stadium Way and Occupation Road, which is also accessed via Cardif Road.

Dedicated on-site parking

On-site accessible parking bays are available within 50 metres of the entrance.

Toilets features at Watford FC, Vicarage Road Stadium

Accessible toilets are provided in all accessible viewing areas around the stadium. Each toilet is Radar Key operated and have support rails and alarm cords fitted. Matchday disabled liaison officers can provide Radar Keys on request. A Changing Places facility is also available.

Changing Places toilet

There is a Changing Places toilet, which includes an adult-size changing bench, toilet, sink and hoist.

Accessible toilet

A designated accessible toilet designed for wheelchair users and others with visible and non-visible accessibility requirements is available within the main public areas.
