No building in Dublin recalls the Victorian Music Hall like 3Olympia Theatre, with its glass canopy, supported by ornamental pillar and wrought iron scrollwork. The theatre, built in 1897, still retains the history of the entertainers who have graced its stage over the decades, from Laurel & Hardy to Adele, from Kris Kristofferon to Kings Of Leon, from Morrissey to Russell Brand. 3Olympia continues to be visited by a stellar line up of musicians, actors, comedians and eccentrics, and there’s always something on to entertain. The performance space remains Dublin’s most loved theatre and music venue, with a repertoire that spans all genres, rock, pop, comedy, theatre, pantomime, cabaret, traditional, folk, hip-hop, metal, easy listening, variety acts, opera, ballet, magic and more... We pride ourselves on looking after every patron of the theatre safely and respectfully so they enjoy their time in our venue, and those who require extra assistance are always treated with care.

Loved the show, that all the entire stalls are step free but staff's lack of awareness about access was grossly disappointing

I have so wanted to see 2:22 - A Ghost Story for ages. When I realised it was on in Dublin when I was on holiday it seemed the perfect opportunity, and I am so glad I saw the show, I loved it. However, I was frustrated and put off in trying to book tickets online via ticketmaster. Apart from reading on the theatre's own website that the entire stall section is step free, when I went to try to book tickets in the stalls, the way ticketmaster was working I could not work out if a seat I was being offered in the stalls was at the end of a row. Instead if I wanted accessible, step free seating I was required to to register and provide/ upload documentary evidence to proof eligibility, which is confidential sensitive personal information without knowing how they treat it or store it. I am not asking for a companion seat, I am just wanting to know what step free and end of row seats are available and I do not see why I have to hand over personal data about my medical diagnosis to obtain the information I require to be able to book independently, when simply information about accessible seating could be on the theatre's website. I ended up going to the theatre box office in person and buying my ticket from them. Due to the way I purchased my ticket, I am not sure if I would have had a better experience if I had declared my disability in advance. However, this was one of the worst theatre experiences I have had since being disabled.
