Abbey Road DLR Station

This is a very quiet DLR station. There are two platforms and the main entrance brings you onto the southbound platform. There is a footbridge overhead which provides access to the northbound platform on the other side. There are stairs and lifts to access the footbridge. The platforms have seating and canopies overhead, there are tactile markings at the edge of the platform and there are help points to call for assistance or notify of any emergencies. The DLR trains stop level with the platform with a very minimal gap between the train and the platform. The newer DLR trains provide slightly better access and have better signage to indicate the best boarding places for those in wheelchairs or with prams.
