Venue Description

The Apollo Victoria is an access friendly West End Theatre venue, currently showing the musical Wicked. The venue is adapted for those with all kinds of disabilities, including wheelchair users, those with walking difficulties, hearing difficulties and the blind and partially sighted.

Accessibility

The Apollo Victoria Theatre has 4 wheelchair bays located at either end of Row F in the Circle. These are accessed via 2 platform lifts from the Vauxhall Bridge Road entrance; one from street level to foyer and one from the foyer to the circle. Row F also offers seating for anyone with limited mobility or wishing to transfer from their wheelchair into a theatre seat. The Apollo Victoria auditorium is equipped with Sennheiser MobileConnect WiFi sound amplification system. This is suitable for patrons with or without a hearing aid. Toilets

The wheelchair accessible entrance is via a platform lift at the Vauxhall Bridge Road entrance into the theatre foyer. Once in the foyer there is level access to the accessible toilet and bar facilities. The closest Changing Places Toilet is 20 minutes away from the theatre at the National Army Museum, Chelsea.

There will always be at least 1 access host working to help guests before, during and after every performance.
