    Delicious meal, great location

During a trip to London we went for dinner in a restaurant called Aster. We chose to go to Aster because we liked the look of the menu and it’s close to the Victoria train station and the Victoria Palace theatre (ideal for having a meal before we went to a show at the theatre). The restaurant is wheelchair accessible although you do have to go through 2 sets of double doors to get inside the restaurant. The doors being double doors does make access possible for wide wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters. The doors were a little heavy and not automatic and so did require staff members to hold them open so I could get inside. We arrived early at the restaurant. It was very quiet and seemed spacious. It was easy to get to our table. Despite this when we were ready to leave the restaurant was quite busy which meant it was a bit of a squeeze to get out. There is a disabled toilet (see photo). Some of the tables are up one step at a raised level. I would advice wheelchair users when booking to ask for a table at floor level. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Aster.
