Overview

Food to die for - those acorn-fed pigs sure are delicious. Gorgeous decor and tableware. Lovely staff. Lots of room to manouevre.

Transport & Parking

Taxi could park outside on Commercial St, dead easy. There are disabled parking spaces on the other side of the building (Commercial Quay) but that's the wrong side for the accessible entrance.

Access

They've tried really hard and the ramp down from the door at the Commercial St entrance, although pretty steep and requiring a 90 degree turn, is great (as long as you have brakes!). Unfortunately the door frame at the bottom still presented a slight obstacle to me as it was too high to bump/drive over in my scooter. Fortunately my dad was able to lift me over - and I'm sure the staff would have helped if I'd been on my own.

Plenty of room to manouevre. Very clean.

Excellent. Very helpful and clearly passionate about their food and wine.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Plenty of room between tables, so easy to get around. Staff delightful, and the chef seemed to really appreciate positive feedback. The food was sooooooooo good. The acorn fed Iberian pork was tender and full of flavour (the salt/pepper one was my favourite). They know how to cook fish as well - halibut fillet with sauteed potatoes, cheddar/chive sauce and massive meaty prawns - to die for. Sardines not available for sharing platter and were replaced with succulent and beautifully cooked scallops - we were very happy! Can't wait for an excuse to go back.
