Bolton Town Centre

It is very hard to find public toilets in both towns bolton and Atherton. This bad before for people but now even harder for people with disabilities. When will councils stop closing public toilets and start opening more up.

While not all of the shops are accessible, everyone is so friendly and helpful you don't really even notice the shops you can't make it into half of the time (or I don't!) Be sure to check out the market, for fresh meat and fish, fruit and veg - cheapest place around for these items.

Bolton is so wheelchair friendly in the town centre. It is difficult for me to think of a shop I can't get into. There are four disabled toilets in town. Cromwell Centre, Market Place, Library and the NHS walk in centre. I love living here as it encourages independence which I was in fear of losing when I first went into the wheelchair.
