This was a small car park with a number of accessible parking spaces and EV charging facilities. It was a paid car park with all bays requiring payment. There was a payment machine available but you could also pay via your phone with the information located on the car park signage. There were roughly 16 accessible parking spaces available in the small car park and two EV charging bays. The EV charging bays did not seem to have the same amount of space as the accessible bays and if the bays were all full it might be tricky for some to access the charging point. The bays did not have their own cables, so a cable would need to be brought with the vehicle. The sockets were Type 2 sockets and the chargers were 22kW.

Unfortunately, the EV charging bays did not seem to be larger bays that would provide the same amount of space as an accessible bay. The two bays were connected to one charging machine that was located between the two available bays. It was operated by Clenergy and had a small amount of information available on the charging point in the form of stickers placed on it. Unfortunately, the stickers were placed in a way that made it quite difficult to read from my seated position. There were no cables attached to the machine so users would need to bring their own cable to use these bays. Both of the sockets were Type 2 connectors and were 22kW chargers. There was a bollard placed directly in front of the machine. If cars were parked in both bays and also in the bays behind the machine, it would likely be difficult for anyone with a mobility aid to easily reach the machine. The machine was not up a curb or step but the socket was positioned quite high. In my seated position I would have needed to lift the cable to around head height to be able to connect it to the socket.
