Getting Here

There are no local buses that serve our venue directly. The nearest bus stop is on George IV Bridge. Taxis can drop off on the Esplanade (during the summer months Castlehill is closed to vehicles so drop off is at The Hub. We would recommend that you speak to staff at The Hub to arrange access. The Open Top tour Buses serve the area around the Castle.

Parking

Depending on the time of year will depend on the number of parking spaces we will have. We would advise you to call (+44) 0131 310 5114 to check availability prior to your visit. I wish to point out the following:- October – March approximately 10 parking spaces, April – September approximately 5 parking spaces. The reason for the parking spaces going down to approximately 5 is due to the construction and de-rig of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Stands, once the stands are in place also the Esplanade is reduced in size.
