Lots of walking, difficult if have mobility issues

Overview

A nice time of year to visit as not so crowded but a lot of walking involved. There is plenty of seating around to take a rest when needed. Cafe had good access but very pricey. Need to prebook parking if you are a blue badge holder and there is a bus for wheelchair users that takes you up to the top of the castle and you are then left to make your own way down but can be precarious in places and some rooms inaccessible too. Staff were friendly but was never asked if we needed any assistance.
