Autobiography done well! - Edinburgh Fringe Book Festival
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Hearing Aid, Hidden Impairment, Learning Disability
Staff were accommodating, after explaining I was hard of hearing they placed me at the front. There were seats in the main foyer, I got there 20 mins early and sat there with other people with access requirements. I really enjoyed the show and it was really engaging and they spoke clearly. Great show. I also got to ask questions!
Transport & Parking
It was difficult to get a taxi back. Parking isn't great in this area. It's opposite the old lauriston building to park.
It didn't feel like there was a lot of access. There was a lift in the main building but it wasn't clearly signposted. Unless you asked staff for help you wouldn't necessarily know where you were going.
Not clear signage, couldn't see an accessible loo.
Extremely helpful and very accommodating.
