    Excellent

Edinburgh Playhouse is very easy to access, with level entry through the main doors and level access to accessible seating and wheelchair spaces. Staff were helpful and accommodating. There is only one standard accessible toilet, which was busy during my visit and had a queue. The bar area gets very crowded, with standing customers making it difficult to navigate through to access the toilet. Ambulatory wheelchair users can park their wheelchairs in the bar area if seated in standard seating. Sealed snacks and drinks are permitted, which is helpful if you have specific dietary requirements or other needs. Overall, access to the venue and seating is straightforward, but the limited accessible toilet provision and busy bar are worth bearing in mind when planning your visit.

The only accessible toilet is in the bar area - it is the only toilet on that level and is always very busy. There are no lifts down to the standard toilets.
