Fitzbillies

There are 3 cafes in this little chain all within Cambridge city centre. I only visited this 1 café on Trumpington Street near King's College. It is a lovely little cafe/tea room with gorgeous cakes. The entrance is step free from the pavement (the pavement can get a bit crowded with tourists at busy times. Once inside there was a small but plenty big enough space to manoeuvre in my manual wheelchair. The staff immediately came to offer assistance and found us a table and removed a chair for me. They do have an accessible toilet towards the rear of the café, it is of a medium size, perfectly suitable for a manual wheelchair, however a larger powered chair user may struggle for turning space or transferring space. the route to through the café has a small ramped section which is very easy and then it is a little narrow due to the other tables and chairs. I had no issues whatsoever as other patrons very kindly shuffled in a bit to let me through. I had a thoroughly pleasant cup of coffee in a lovely setting, I would recommend.
