Frizzante Proseccheria

Went there for dinner on a recommendation from a reviewer, the experience did not disappoint. I said we would go for lunch as a contrast and did so - again another positive experience. Same excellent customer service. Same simple, quality cooking. Smaller and different menu. Food cooked to order and very busy especially with families.

We chose to go to Frizzante as the online menu looked very different and had a strong sense of originality about it. Whist the decor the furniture looked old and tired that didn’t detract from the culinary quality of the food. Certainly, the fact it was family owned and managed came through in the way customers regular or new were greeted and engaged throughout. There were areas for wheelchairs and power chairs if required, and assistance dogs welcome. * if your looking for a quick meal, Frizzante cook everything to order and it can take a bit longer when they are busy as they were when we visited.

Frizzante is an Italian restaurant, offering a delicious selection of pasta, pizza and meat and fish dishes. They layout includes a single step at the entrance, there are several booths with fixed seating but at the back there is a large room with free standing tables and chairs.
