    Modern bus station

The Liverpool One bus station is located next to the Liverpool One retail and entertainment space. It has 10 bus stands, each with different bus services available. Bus services that operate in and around Liverpool use this station, as do some coach operators. The stands were split across both sides of the bus station and there was a certain amount of cover from bad weather at each stand, but it was still fairly open to the elements. There were different seating options at each stand, some proper seats with backs and armrests and some perching benches. They all had digital display boards with scheduled information. The Liverpool One Travel Centre was an indoor area with ticket machines and manned desks. There was also some seating available, some vending machines and lots of information leaflets with things to do in Liverpool. Overall, the station felt easy to navigate, with no gradients or inclines, and smooth flooring. The stands were easy to identify and there were different seating options, including some inside the heated travel centre.
