Overview

Not too bad. There is lots of regeneration work going on so half the museum was closed. Sadly not many trains open to actually view though (I'm sure there was more open the last time we visited). Tickets free of course and we were allowed entry before our booking. There are a few steps sadly and to get close to many of the trains involves steps. Limited seating to take a rest. The worst thing currently is the car park. It's quite a walk and the disabled bays aren't the closest, Car parking is free though but we donated the normal charge instead of paying parking. Worth going though if you are a train fan.

Transport & Parking

Car parking currently is over the road and down a half complete park. It's a good 200meter walk on unlevel terrain. There's not many disabled bays currently and they aren't in the closest position.. Hopefully this improves soon. The car park isn't owned by the museum though.
