Overview

The place is completely accessible with level access throughout the inside and outside of the building. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this cinema for anyone visiting the area.

Transport & Parking

plenty of parking throughout with 6 disabled parking spots which are located at the front of the building. However due to the large and flat car park if the disabled spots are being used there are plenty of other spots to park in.

Access

No lift insitu as level access throughout the inside and outside of the building from the car park or the bus stop. Wheelchair spaces at the front and towards the centre of the cinema screens 1,3,4,5 & 8. Screen number 2,6 and 8 however only have limited spaces for wheelchairs. The haywood suite has no wheelchair access. All of the 9 cinema screens have audio hearing loops installed and screen 4 has a audio description system for the visually impaired.

Toilets

There are 2 disabled toilets both with adequate turning space for a wheelchair user plus a carer if needed. The toilets have plenty of grab rails. Noted them to be clean and tidy.

I would definitely recommend this cinema. However to offer more choice its a shame there isn't a stair lift which would enable disabled users to access the screens seats at a higher level, because having to sit right at the front of the screen means looking up resulting in an uncomfortable neck for over an hour.
